are there any ignition upgrades that can be done for the Valk?  Like better coils / wires.

Use to be a Dyna 3000 icm but it's not made anymore.

Yes you can always upgrade to more expensive coils and wires. Better maybe maybe not.

You will need to know the actual coil resistance to order replacements from Accel or another supplier.

Ordering the coils, wires and caps from the same manufacture is usually a good idea.

BUT unless your coils or wires are faulty do not expect any significant power increase.

If you decide to do this you may also want to consider mounting the coils somewhere with less heat and better air flow.

Most of the coil failures I have seen are the result of being in a high heat location where the covering heats, ages and splits, exposing the coil wire to the elements and failure.

As for the wires, if they are not  leaking current to a ground and have minimal resistance, changing them may not improve anything.
