I thought the weather would win on saturday but we still got in a nice ride to Deals Gap , The Hellbender on into Franklin and back to Robbinsville by way of Wayah Road. We had ( 2 ) groups leave Robbinsville saturday morning the first group with Big Don up front hit snow on Cherohala Skyline ( see Duffy's post for pictures ) . The group that went with me made our way to Deals Gap on a wet road  Sad  We talked it over and made the call to just head back to the motel with the nasty weather. Some took the quick route the rest of us did The Hellbender and by the time we made The Hellbender Store the roads was dry and once again the ride was on.

At this point we had lost about half our group they went back to the motel and missed a great ride as you can see the roads was dry for us the rest of the day. Hwy.28 into Franklin was a blast with zero traffic in our way.

We was sad to hear about Sugerbee getting hurt on the way up to join our ride ....Best wishes Donna heal fast and ...Ride On.

Here's a few pictures I'll share in no order I've got to get ready to hit the road . These pictures are from the ride in ( friday )....The Fall Color Ride ( saturday )....and going home today ( sunday ) .Dates for The Fall Color Ride 2010 are Oct. 15-16-17 and again will be out of The Phillips Motel in Robbinsville, North Carolina.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I use Winders Movie Maker to edit stuff down. The most important part is how you save it. My
first few videos were hideous blurs by the time youtube got done formatting them on their
end. The best I've done is to "Save To My Computer"->"Other Settings"->"High Quality Video (small)",
and upload the results from that.

Youtube has some help pages that tell you what formats they like best, so your best bet is to
get whatever video editor you have to spit out a format that youtube really likes...
