Sherry and I went to Sail Boston yesterday to see the parade of tall ships into the harbor. It was a great time. Entry points to viewing locations around the harbor had near airport level security with bag checks, pocket emptying and handing wanding for potential concealed weapons. Large construction vehicles served as barriers to the secure area to ward off potential vehicle use as weapons.
Bernie you would have loved it. The waterfront was teeming with people.

Although the wait for the ships was long because of pushing the start time one hour because of fog, everybody was happy and having a good time. Heard on the new last night that there was not one arrest in Boston yesterday that was attributed to the event.
After the parade, we headed over to Legal Test Kitchen for lunch so Sherry could get her lobster roll. I got a hamburger that was cooked to perfection at medium. A stroll of the Greenway after lunch to Quincy Market to get ice cream cones and people watch. Then home. Great day! A couple of pics below.
