Wow!  And it's a 2007 (and at $8000 they're letting it go below retail).  coolsmiley

With 843 miles that bike may have been to the gas pump less than six times.  Roll Eyes

I'm not usually a big fan of the yellow and black, but that one is definitely sharp.

Those are Champion Patriot bags, not tourer bags.

Honda did make 97 Tourers but not in Bumblebee with aftermarket hardbags.  If it was true blue (red?  Undecided) the yellow would wrap around the back of the bags and the locks would be flush with the lid/body.

Dag, I think that one has a ways to go before it can compete with yours.

I don't think you got anything to worry about. Although there's another "Bee" out here that I'mn sure you've seen whichis pretty cool too.

Great find, Dag.

The Champion Bags look great, too.

Although there were no factory Bumblebee Tourers, a few homemade examples are known to exist...   Wink   Here's a Kill Boy spy photo that captures one on the Dragon's Tail on the way to IZ8.  (Hi LP & TD.)

Getting better or still BAD?  Do you have the OEM Tourer bags on your bee?

Hi Dag,

I'm much better, still improving, and consider myself ahead of schedule.  Janet & I went to the State Fair of Texas Sunday (with about 80,000 other people) and I was on my feet with the Walkyrie Tourer for over 7 hours.  (While I was there I got some great info on the Big Bend area from the Park employees working their booth.)  I had no bone pain Monday - just a little muscle soreness, and boy did that feel good!  I used the cane to walk with yesterday morning while feeding the dogs and drinking coffee and felt so good I officially retired the Walkyrie!  Crash + 23 days!  The doctor expects total bone healing at crash + 6 weeks and I'm over half-way there.  You should have seen the look on his face when I asked him when I could swing a leg over a motorcycle again!  After he chewed on me for a while, he agreed with my estimate of crash + 8-12 weeks.  It should be a very merry Christmas.  I'm beyond blessed.

Yes, my bags are OEM Tourers.  They were Sedona Red & Cream.  The re-paint was easy.  The hand-laying of the silver stripe using the existing stripe as a template was not.  It kept bunching up in the tight curves.  I've converted the hinges to the Interstate hardware and wish I had known the difference between the Tourer & Interstate bags when I bought them.  The IS bags are much smoother in the rear without the seam.

Your Texas Chapter patch began its journey to you today.  First stop: Houston.   Wink
