Bike won't run after Petcock replacement

Only happened once....

It took me years to finally figure it out. Actually Wiggy walked me thru it very patiently. I'm not near as good of a teacher as he is, but I'll try.

First, sign up to a pic posting site. I and many here use postimage.org. Then you can upload pics to their site. After that, when you click on one of your pics there will be a box that says "share". Click on that and it will open several other boxes. I use the one that says "hotlink for forums", to the right of it click that and it will say "copied". Then come back and in your dialog box just paste it. I think holding the Control button and pushing "v" will give you a shortcut for that. And that should do it.

Censoring software wont let the word petc ock be written. It changes the last half to 'pencil'.

Disconnect the fuel line at the tank. Use a vacuum pump (sucking will also work ) see if fuel comes out. Did you actually check to see if you have vacuum when you crank the engine. You can hook the vacuum line to the right rear runner. If vacuum is applied and no fuel , and selector is in right position , you may have a bad valve. Also , if you replaced the fuel line and made it to long , it will stop the fuel.

Where is the “right rear runner”?  I’m experiencing this problem and I don’t have vacuum at the hose coming to the petcock. I can’t see where the other end goes but I can feel it when I try to start and there’s no vacuum. Where can I hook a new line to get vacuum?

Off of any of the intake tubes. About half of them have hoses coming off them. I believe No. 6 tube is the OEM on for the petcock vacuum line, but it can work from any of them.

(No 3 tube is the none adjustable carburetor for the carb synchronization)
