Just off the grill, oh yeah.

Here is a follow up to the forest rat pictures. The finished product. Venison backstraps marinated in the Duc Mans garlic teriyaki marinade, wrapped in bacon and cooked medium rare on the grill. Sweet.

We had the rest of that backstrap tonight when he took his dinner break from the machine shop. Had some of it the same way, some cut into steaks and some made into kabobs. I asked him about writing down the marinade recipe and I didn't get an answer. It's not that it's a secret, it's just that he's probably never made it the same way twice and will have to think about it!

Funny, he never cooked when he lived at home. I didn’t know he knew how till he and Autumn had us over for dinner a time or two.

I'll ask him again when he's not workin'.
