I'm thinking about doing the Supervalk mod.  I'd have to remove or relocate the CB.

Honda advises to install the CB unit under the trunk. However, there is a space behind the battery that seems to be just the right size to hold the unit.

Has anyone tried this? Did you experience any problems, like radio interference?

Thanks, Gary

It will fit just behind the battery if you cut out the divider in the space behind the battery  ..  I have had mine there for a few years.

Did my first I/S like this and used some closed-cell shipping foam as a cushion/wedge.

Going to do my second I/S the same when I get around to installing a CB.

Same here.
CB is under the seat.
Remove the divider in the pocket behind the battery and the CB fits right in.
A few wires tucked in front of it and it doesn't move at all.
