Been traveling and apologize for not getting this out sooner.

Time to get together and swap stories and break bread again. Come join us at the Grapevine  Spring Creek BBQ  this Thursday beginning at 7 for eats and 8 for the incredibly official meeting. Plenty of parking. Rain should be gone and temperature moderate  (for August ).

Bring a friend and your bike.

Seems like we should be talking about officer nomination as well. Otherwise, the current President may try to become a career official and start taking special interest money. We can talk about his ouster Thursday.

Nice meeting - discussed a lot.

Possible Get togethers:

Cars and Coffee - Local car show the FIRST Saturday of every month at Classic BMW Dealership Plano.  Be there by 7am at the latest.  Just show up.

National Goldwing "WingDing" at the Gaylord Aug 29-Sept 2nd.  $10 to get in.  Lots of vendors, oxygen tanks and color coordinated his and her riding gear.  Free Dairy Queen coupons to the first 1000 people.

Rides:

Sept 9th - Ride to Clarksville for the Red River Stew Festival (details coming)

2017 Hill Country Ride - Looks like Oct 20-22nd.  Location TBD.

Back to Kendall's Restaurant in Noble, OK for CFS (date TBD)

News:

Sidecar did not read the bylaws correctly - elections are to be held in July.  Since he did not call for elections until August, he must remain president until next July.   2funny

Actually, Gary was most gracious in accepting a 2nd term as our president. cooldude

A good time was had by all.

Parking is $10.  A day pass to the event is $15 for GWRRA members, $22 for us barbarians.
