I, along with my brother Don on his Gold Wing and our cousin Mike  on his Harley,  took our usual  220 mile
round trip to southern New Jersey for lunch..The ride down from the beach ( exit 117 if you must know)  was good and
fast with light traffic under clear blue skies. Goodfellows restaurant in Absecon on Rt.30 was the targeted feed stop

After lunch  it was a short 8 mile westward run to Egg Harbor City and a right turn  into the Pine Barrens..

As  luck would have it  the cranberries are coming home to roost  ! ... and I did have my camera with me !
so if you ever wonder where you next cranberry might have come from ..this is might be the spot !

.......brings back some good memories...

.....used to shoot down Rt 72 to LBI every summer since I was a kid.....Chatsworth....Tabernacle....all cool little towns way out in the Pine Barrens....stomping ground for the Jersey Devil......last few years before I moved started going to the Cranberry Festival....I think it was in Tabernacle ?......took Chili out there for a ride one late summer.....through all the cranberry bogs and pines.....sweet ride...

....when I left town I thought Id never look back.....but time has a way of changing your mind...and soul....I never want to live in jersey again.....but I could definitely enjoy comming..."home".....just for a......taste..
