Finding the 44os too rough on the back, solo, great two-up. I have the choice of the originals, or second pair Wizard had declared I/S shocks .Looking at them ,there is no obvious difference. Liking the I/S shocks two up or solo it would be good to duplicate the ride on Belle CT
p.s. the beast took me along six thousand five hundred miles through the rockies and Inzane  in june.Still a little weak the red and black beast only threw me once (late night right turn ,low speed in a large Cherry street pothole) no harm done but my head hit the pavement hard (again!) but the half summer helmet took it all in. had it been a harley rider the bandana to naught!

First of all, if Wizzard told you they are I/S shocks they are. There is no outward difference. Only internally. As for which is going to ride better, I'd have to say the I/S shocks. (Stay off of your head)

I'm not a guy who can talk about how compression and rebound damping affects ride and handling, or how this shock is better than that one, but I can say I replaced my creaky Tourer shocks with used IS shocks, and I am happy with them.  Maybe I just haven't experienced better.

I moved my current I/S's trunk and shocks to my Tourer when the shocks had ~12Kmi on them, and the Tourer had ~4Kmi on it.

They've gotten another 12K on them since the swap and still ride nicely - solo or two-up.

Next go-around will see a set of Works Performance shocks installed.
