I'm having a hard time deciding between the two windshields. Both have the grey tint which suppoesedly helps headlight glare at night. Clearview has a nice optional vent.

My concern is about the piece of windshield missing underneath the headlight on the Clearview. Cee Bailey's has it, like the stock Honda.

It seems like it should be there for a reason, like to keep dirt and rain and wind from blowing in up under and around the fuel tank.

Does anyone have feedback on this issue?

I've got a clearview, the vent is great, you will nev er miss the head light circle, also makes it easy to take it on and off,  also your choice of light bars just got bigger .  hoser  cooldude

No experience with the CB's, but a big +1 on the Clearview  cooldude

I've never missed the part of the shield under the headlamp.

+ another = Clearview.  Have no knowledge/opinion on CB.  The Clearview, sans the lower part, works perfectly fine.  Makes it easier to clean out the bug bones in the nooks and crannies down under.  Ymmv,

Clearview and you might want to hold off for a short period.

I bought a Clearview back in August. I got the 2" shorter than stock in the gray tint(I was hoping it would be darker) with no vent. My friend Solo 1 had one with the vent & he told me the only thing he could see that the vent did was collect bugs. Anyway, I'm very happy with mine, it has made riding the Valk  pleasurable again. You probably won't go wrong with either choice. Cee Bailey has a good reputation in the sport touring community. If you decide on the Clearview, make sure you give them plenty of lead time before you need it. Mine took about 4 weeks from order to delivery. I think they might make them on an "as ordered" basis since they have several choices.

Plus me on this; I installed a vent in my OEM Tourer Shield and have not found it to help anything at all.  Undecided

Why is that Willow?  And what do you know about Cee Bailey's?

Had the vent on an aftermarket screen on my 1200 wing.  I thought it was a good thing.
Hot days = more air.  Colder days = less air.  My Clearview is 4" shorter (Smoke tint / no vent).
A good move.  For me.  Ymmv, (Tourer w/no fairing)

We have 2 clearviews...On 2 tourers...
Clearview as you said doesn't add the bottom under the light...
If you like to remover the windshields as we do and have cobra lights..
It really makes the removal nice n easy... cooldude
They are thicker then oem.. But then again so is CeeBaileys...

I do know we waited months for our ClearViews....At the time they were in a change of production state...

I put one of their vents in my OEM shield and would not be without it. On hot days,  it allows you to direct cooling air to your face or chest. I no longer feel it necessary to remove the shield in hot weather.  However it isn't always easy to get the bugs out of its crevices.
