I have a 98 Standard with the stock seat. It is time to upgrade and due to the high prices was wondering what everyone else is using. I have looked at Russell Daylong, Ultimate, Hartco and Baldwin not locked into a brand but would like some feedback.

I don't know anything about Baldwin, but Valkyrie people say
good things about the other three seats you mention.

The later (2000 + ?) OEM seats are a big improvement
for cheap...

I bought a Saddleman a few weeks ago. so far, I am very pleased with it.

We have ultimate seats on the valks and one vtx love them, but i have a mustang on the saber and get along fine with it. you need to find them and sit on them for a while to see what fits.
