What does the data say?

Corinth, Texas

« on: August 31, 2017, 03:36:49 PM »

BnB Tom and I plan on showing up at Cars & Coffee this Saturday.  All are invited to come and show off our soon-to-be-classics.

It starts early.  We showed up at 9 last time and it was basically over.  So, we plan to get there about 7.

You should be fine at 0700.  When I was there in August, a man in a Classic BMW shirt told me the sweet spot is 0645.  Anything earlier and you're just waiting in like.  Much later, and you might not find a parking space.

Given my frustration with long lines, I passed all the westbound traffic on Spring Creek, made the right on northbound service road, and was waved into the lot via the eventual exit.

Motorcycles are allowed in no matter what time you arrive, only the cars get turned away.

No problem getting in on the bikes around 7:20.

We were quickly 'motioned' in, past the cars, by the gate monitors on the west side access road.

Valkpilot and I captured a couple of good parking spots then looked up to see Houdini who said he had just arrived too.

There were lotsa cool cars and a few bikes.  BUT the only REALLY cool bikes were the Valkyries that the three of us rode in on.   coolsmiley

My comment was more about avoiding sitting in line to get in.
