Hi Folks,

I just wanted to let other short folks ( Cheesy) know that I successfully was able to use the 1 1/4 " lowering bracket on my 2014 Valkyrie  made by: http://lowerwing.com/

went on easy peasy and the kit came with a spacer to correct the kickstand angle once the bike was lowered. I slipped the front forks 5/8" to correct the stance.

Now I've got to ride it a bit to see how I like it.

Seems pretty easy, but be careful if you make sharp turns.

I was very intrigued with this item until I read that the centre stand would have to be removed.  I like my centre stand too much and their new centre stand is too pricey for me.
The other warning is to be aware of turns.  You can't lean the bike as much.  Heck, I have already scraped my boards a few times and to me this would be dangerous for me.  Ok for those that don't take the curves aggressively.

I've never had a center stand for my Valkyrie  Cry that said I had one on my F6b and it gave me fits trying to get it up on the stand - I ended up buying an assist add on and I still had trouble, technique I guess?

So I lowered my 2014 Valk 1 1/4" with the lower wing bracket - easy to do, hard part fro me was slipping the front forks a bit - 5/8" - all that tupperware os a PITA ...

Now the ride -  cooldude

Feet planted firmly for the first time!
immediately noticed the lower center of gravity!
Took all of my usual twisties and didn't scrape - still riding conservatively at this point and I haven't tried any speed bumps yet.

Overall I am calling this a huge success and a big win for the short guys club.

Update - the sharp turns aren't a prob BUT if you do a sharp driveway drop straight without taking it at an angle I did get a scrape I think on the end of my aftermarket pipes which a wee bit longer than the OEM pipes.
