JK what number part is the O ring on the jet that a guy should replace when the fuel regulator over rides it resulting in raw gas puking out. I am thinking I want to replace it due to the oxygenated corn fuel corrosion my state makes us all run.
BTW I bought that fuel pressure tool from Harbour and used it for 1.5 on WOT and it worked exactly as you suggested.

#13 is all that holds back the fuel from the bowl. It could have gotten trash under it, or the pressure was too high. I've never need to replace one.

JK, may I ask if under the float valve you refer to as #13 is there any rubber material such as an 0 ring that #13 seats into or is it metal to metal? Does the taper on #13 have any rubber like material on it that could deteriorate?
I am fishing for info so when I take my carb off I can replace #13 and any 0 rings etc; to reduce the chances of gas spilling out on my engine since my fuel regulator is set correctly and if I find no foreign matter under the needle and seat I want to replace everything that has anything to do with gas overflowing out of the carb? THanks in advance

Thanks Jeff, my bet is the corrosive oxygenated fuel that make us run here has possibly eaten at the rubber on my tip since my blower bike sits all the time so I will just replace this needle part.
On the other hand maybe I should just run some SeaFoam... it will correct this problem plus give me more power, higher gas mileage, and make me better looking.

Heck it won't take an hour to pull and clean the carb go for it. Just for the piece of mind if nothing else. Be careful of those bowl screws they are cheap and easy to round out. Use your "good" Philips screwdriver. Just be careful not to bend the tab and ruin the float setting. I once had a problem with my carb... it would only run on full choke... it ran but not very well... I pulled the tank and oddly enough the carb had come off from a hard wheelie landing and it was sucking fuel through an air gap!!

Wheelies hehehe, I found out the hard way,After a lot of tuning and spark plugs i decided to take the Wife for a ride, first time w/blower, THIS THING IS DANGEROUS. Seen a friend at about the same time and went to run him down a little gas and we were looking straight UP so it came back down and i cracked it again and up we went again of coarse cars are watching us thinking WTH not because of the wheelie but my Wife Punching me in the BACK hehehe got to love this bike.

Joann gets mad if I don't warn her first, she says it hurts her back when I jump on it. The solution to that was... ride your own damn bike.

Thanks guys, I agree pulling the carb is not a big job, I have a rebuild kit coming and I am going to change out the needle valve.
JK where can I get the carb screws as I understand what you are saying about the bowl screws they are really soft and round out very easy. I know when we were tuning and trying different jets the bowl screws are touchy.
For my wheelie story I don't have a good one....but on my maiden run after I installed the N20 I installed the micro switch for the juice on WOT, the switch was strapped with a hose clamp to the blower neck. With the juice off I nailed it in second gear and when I let off the gas to shift into 3rd it was still WOT so with big eyes and a small corn shoot I shifted into 3rd and hit the kill switch. I took the tank off and saw that I had failed to tighten the hose clamp for my N20 switch and it got tangled into the throttle linkage. What a ride!

LOL for my wheelie story.... When I finished my blower install, I needed some gas. So, I decided to ride it up to the local store and get a few gallons. I started it up and pulled out of the drive and it started to die. I had forgot to open the pingle petcock I had installed. I immediately knew what i had done and I reached down and opened it while pumping the throttle to keep it alive. Luckily, I got my left hand back on the handlebars as it got fuel because it came straight up. Honestly, it startled the hell outta me LOL. I got it down safely, but it would have been bad to have wrecked it 100yds down the road on my first ride after installing the blower.

Any hardware store. They are not metric but I don't remember the size.
