I think it looks better,
Shows more motor, carb covers, and exhaust.
I can see a lot of options for bling to dress it up.
BUT with that said, after what is probably going to be considerable sticker shock, how any buyers would have anything left over for bling?

I think it looks awesome. As I recall gold wings are known for their Tupperware. And the gadgets. For all those folks not wanting that stuff there is our  Valks.

Now if they could just add a few inches in the middle somewhere so taller riders can fit without having their hips, knees, and ankles bent at negative angles.

Taller riders are freaks of nature.  Nothing should be done to encourage this sort of genetic misapplication.  Perhaps we should be seeking ways to surgically reverse the error of height rather than insist that the whole world take measures to address the handicap.   Wink

I don't like it, but then I'm just not old enough yet to be ready for a wing.  I have old friends who are and I have no problem with that.  I do occasionally ride in or drive a Civic.   Smiley

It goes back to the age old question - Do you get a 'Wing because you got old, or do you get old because you got a 'Wing?  Evil

Interesting changes I see so far. Looks like, but not for me. I can't stand spending 2 hours of tupperware removal to do 5 minutes of work on the spousal unit's ST1300, can't see this being any different.

Initial reports of test rides on the GL1800 site mentioned the DTC would be offered on the Goldwing only while the F6B would have a 6 speed manual.

Looks to be the opposite if these photos are legit. I guess we will find out Oct 24th.

Is it just me or does the Speedometer go from 120 back to 100 or is that the mathematical symbol for infinity?

Liking that you can see more of the engine and a little of the exhaust headers...would be even more prominent if I had my way.  One of the nicest things about the Valk IMO is those beautiful headers curving out from below.

Still too much plastic, but less than the previous 17 years, so that's good.

Anyone read Chinese

https://www.moto7.net/2017/09/2018-honda-goldwing.html

Folks on forums are saying Honda VP Marketing is asking where pics leaked from.  Peoples facebooks pics of these Goldwing Pics are disappearing.   The new Yamaha Venture was played up for months with the Journey adds.  Could Honda be doing them one better?  Is Honda this clever?  One thing for sure the interest is intensifying.
