I coverted my last video into a format that I could use in WMM, but for some reason, the audio for it either didn't transfer or is cut off somehow??....I looked at the help topics about dealing with audio clips such as adding music over the top of the original audio and such, but I am not sure why I don't have my original audio?.... Sad

To take a page from Mike Marshall's book....

I guess you used some program to convert your MOV to an AVI? What program? Is there
sound on your AVI if you play it with Windows Media Player (or anything other than Window
Movie Maker)?

This program:

It's just a program called "Any Video Converter".....I'm converting the MOV file to a "Customized WMV Movie (*.wmv) file.....I looked on the audio tab and I think the default setting was "0 db".....I just slid it over to 10db out of a possible 20db.....maybe that was what happened the first time I did it??....I just ASS-u-me'd that the audio came with it as a package deal??....oh well.....I'll see if this makes a difference......or maybe I should convert it from a MOV to and AVI file(audio/visual??)......

Steamer....."One day I MIGHT figure this out?"

It could be missing codec's in your WMM. If you do a Google search there are loads of posts on forums about similar problems and suggestions on where to get appropriate codecs.

Alternatively have a look at Format factory from here it's free and converts just about anything to anything video, audio, photo, dvd etc.
