I am planning on being there.  I am not sure if I am travelling alone or not.  My wife doesn't like riding in cold weather, and I have invited a buddy of mine who just purchased a GL1200 Aspencade.  I will leave Friday morning from here and take state highways the whole way.  I might as well see as much country as I can.

Joe ( Smokin'joe )

Big Al ( Big Al )

Tom Sells ( Tomdog )

Paul ( Nasty Nine )

Above rider's are rollin' with me and its possible that Don ( Highbinder ) and Tracy ( Lady Draco ) will join our group as well....Still tryin' to shame Lucky 13 into going also.

Lookin' forward to this ride my Great-Great Grand-Father is buried at Shiloh and I've never seen his resting place.

I'm in only providing it don't rain. Sorry I'm just not into rd trips when it's raining. Guess you can call me a fair weather rider.

I'm in.  Will make reservations soon.  Check your emails Joe.  If Lucky 13 needs a roomate maybe we could hook up.

 Rain Or Shine  cooldude

Some shine would be nice for a change...Rode to CBR in Indiana it poured on us both ways  Sad
This years Fall Color Ride was'nt much better with cold rain on ride day  Sad  We hung it out and got in a decent ride ( not the one planned ) so I'm hoping for blue skys and cool temps on this ride.

We missed you and Tracy on The Fall Color Ride looks like some folks will be staying in Knoxville on thursday night 11-5. I plan on getting a room as well to get in on the tire kickin' and lie tellin' before we head westbound to Lexington, Tennessee on friday morning 11-6 . Below is motel infomation if needed ...Its no Hilton more like a Hindu Hilton  Wink but it's reasonable and you park the bike at your door.

Motel 6 Knoxville
402 Lovell Road
I-40 at SR 131/Lovell Road, Exit #374

Outstanding Coot I always enjoy ridin' and talkin' with you...Give some thought about meeting us in Knoxville we can take US Highways damn near all the way as you know Hwy.70 has some awesome sections between here and Nashville.

I asked....er ahhh....told....Kit about the ride that if the weather is decent up here, that I may ride down for the day. I won't get off work till 5 on friday and will start the trek down. Would get there Sat afternoon, ride home Sun. This is all dependent on the weather. Won't know till the day before. Its usually 30 deg up here by then, and would make for a long cold 500 miles.  Embarrassed

Would love to have you join us ... " Its usually 30 deg up here by then " ...Three  words for you GERBING HEATED CLOTHES ... Start off with jacket liner and gloves .When you price them it hurts the wallet but the first ride you go on and twist that knob ...Trust me on this its the best money you can spend to add pleasure to year around riding.

I'm not too far from you. I live in Hartselle. We need to hook up sometime for a ride. My wife and I along with another Valk owner friend of mine put on about 250 miles Saturday up to Lynchburg TN for the Jack Daniels BBQ cookoff. Give us a shout sometime. My email address is in my profile.
