One more thing.

I am a firm believer in using turn signals.

They help prevent 'the other guy' from running your a$$ over.

If they have some idea of your intentions they may stay in their lane or slow down for your turn.

So.  Turn signals all the way down to the meet up worked normal.  After lunch, got on my bike to follow Jimmy west toward Waco...  NO TURN SIGNALS.  Didn't work from the get go while leaving parking lot at Sodolak's.

Kept trying them as I rode.  Still not working. Angry

When we got to a stop sign I asked Jimmy if my front running lights were on (they also operate as front turn signals).  He said yes but when I tried turn signals - nothing.

Neither left nor right.  And emergency flashers didn't work either.  ?

Not wonderful knowing the amount of traffic I was getting ready to tackle from Waco to Frisco.  tickedoff

  Several possibilities.  Flasher, fuse,  Undecided

Digging in to the Tupperware again  Sad

I'd start with the connections made by a certain vendor.

Yes.  That is my first suspect after seeing how he mounted the headlight heatsink.  Angry

Sunday I loaned my jack adapter to LTD and pulled his rear end to see what the issue was. Pound of rust fell out of the shaft tube when we pulled it back and the shaft seal was bad and flopping around on the shaft. Cup and Shaft splines were shot.  Drive hub was also dry and rusting but teeth looked good. We broke down the entire pumpkin and only  found the cup/shaft bad.

I think the cup seal failure lead to the problem.  We ordered parts and seals. All the parts cup/shaft clips and seals was less than 130$

Good to hear it was only the shaft, seal, and the cup.  Wish I had known you guys were working on it today.  I have the parts new in the box and could have met one of you half way and you could have got it going today.
I will throw the parts in the truck and take them to work tomorrow.  I work just on Holcombe, just off of 288.
I  will PM you my cell#.
