Hello everyone,

I'll be changing tires soon and want to replace valve stems with 90 degree chrome ones but i'm not sure what size our bikes take, 11 or 8mm?

Thank you

Order from here...get a half dozen or so. Never had a problem with them, they're awesome ... https://www.jakewilson.com/p/1753/19082/Myers-90%C2%B0-Tubeless-Chrome-Valve-Stem

I believe we are dealing with an 11mm size.

These are the ones I like. I think they look better without the nuts on the outside. Never a problem in 90k. Just make sure you tighten them correctly.

1st. tire change the stem was replaced with a 90 degree and went bad about 300 mi. later. The "stem keeper" was missing thus I keep a supply on hand just in case though I'd say the stem was defective but...

It sounds like you are still using the OEM style ? With the solid metal ones you don't need the keepers. I highly recommend them. Willow says "friends don't let friends ride with OEM stems" (or something like that)

I called Jake Wilson and they told me that these come in only one size, 10mm so I got mine on amazon as i wasn't certain. They are the only ones i found that stated 11mm.
They are from Show Chrome.
Just got my new tires and these installed and tried beads for the first time.
I'll see how things are once i get them on to the bike.

Thank you guys!
