Scooter, Violet and myself.....she seemed to be in good spirits with the help of the pain medicine every few hours....Rusty is taking very good care of her and helping her with some leg exercises during the day....we had a good time visiting with her and Rusty and he told us they'd be there for maybe a couple of more weeks depending on how well she heals up.....

Scooter is off on Mondays, so I decided to take tomorrow off also and ride up there with him to take Rusty on a short ride...he's been cooped up in the hospital for 9 days also....I think it'll do him good to get out for some fresh air for a little while and it's the least we can do since he said he only got to ride about 14 curves before Donna's accident......

They showed me the stack of emails from VRCC folks and I'm sure she'd appreciate a few more to read if someone wanted to send some more in...they've moved her to room 6726 @ Donna Demers.....I don't have the actual link handy, but she's in North Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.....

Thanks for the update Stanley. I didn't get down there this weekend. Hope to soon. It's over 200 miles for me so it's gonna be an all day thing or an overniter.

I would have if she'd have asked me too, but she said that right now her taste buds just aren't letting anything taste good....probably a side effect of the meds??....

I was in the hospital for about a day back earlier in the year and even THAT was too long for me.....I can't imagine being stuck in one for weeks at a time......She did say she was probably getting a little more rest at this hospital than if she were back home...I think the meds have her in and out and the rest does her good.....

Mite?? uglystupid2  Your wife's name is Abby, right?  I'm sure she more than understands this.  In the pictures I've seen of her, Abby looks like a fine, upstanding example of Southern womanhood.  I'm sure she is also a fine cook judging by your middle.  You could have begged and pleaded for her to make something for you to take.  Once she knew the reason, I'm SURE she would have obliged being the fine, upstanding Southern woman she is.

I am sure Donna getting the same rest in there as she would at home. Comming to think about it the Dr. did say this would help her cooking. Now Rusty has something to look forward to. Don't get me wrong she a fine cook when she does it once or twice a year. Maybe now she will do it more. Love you Donna!! Now heary up and get will and come home. We all miss pickin on you. Even Flip misses you.
