Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

When fetching my cat from a tree my buddy Kent (Shortstop) heartlessly told me "I've never seen a dead cat in a tree", as if I should just leave him up there until he decided to get down on his own.

Yeah, it appears I've a cat leak in the house somewhere. But at least...they're only leaking out!

lol! Technically, Daniel, you can't add "kitten rescuer extraordinaire" to your resume until you've fetched one that didn't want to be rescued (with, of course, the wife's frantic cries, demands, and instructions in the background). I'm sure you've been there.

Daniel, remember to praise your kitten for its climbing strength, and revel in its stealthy abilities.
Never try to thwart its efforts at creative escapism. That will only create self-esteem issues with your kitten that will only manifest it self in greater behavioural problems as it grows up.

Good read!! I'm still waiting on that next book to come out... I've already been through the 4 I have (twice)... Speaking of cats... I USED to like them, until one gave me cat scratch fever... No, not the Nugent version... The real deal version that's in the medical books. I actually didn't believe the doctor when he told me that. He had to show it to me in a book. Anyways... while in the hospital looking at my arm that was twice its normal size, I decided I didn't like cats anymore. Now, I have a Mexican rat. (Chiuaua if the wife asks...) It was originally her dog, but I thankfully adopted it when we got married.
