1998 Valk.
The tachometer lights just went out. Anybody have an idea as to where to start, are they replaceable?

Yes they are replaceable do a search here,there have been many write ups on it.

There has been a number of people that have replaced the bulbs with LED's for a little brighter light.

I just replaced the lamp on the speedo and the tach with blue led I got at Wal Mart.  Mark T has a recent post on this.  very simple.

I used #194 bright white LED bulb from our local AutoZone. Works nice; looks great. Much better IMHO than the stock incandescents.
