When I bought the interstate it has a single honda seat with a removable passenger seat. I found the single seat pushed me forward too much and was too soft. I put the Honda two up seat on for a ride last week and It was WAY better. More dished, firmer and lower as well as further back seating position. The oem seat on my magna sucked also, so I upgraded to a Corbin Gunfighter. I find the stock two up on the valk is a lot like the Corbin. First comfortable oem honda seat I have felt.

The one piece seat was standard on an IS. And unless something was different with the Canadian models the original owner put a different seat on it. And yes the one piece IS seat is pretty good but I still put a mustang on mine cooldude

There should be markings on the underside of the seat. The classical Honda part number should be visible or a name of a manufacturer.

I've yet to find a comfortable seat for my IS. I think it might be more along the lines of not riding enough, and always having to get used to it each riding season.

Both seats have honda stamped on them I believe. Part numbers are coded in a similar fashion iirc. I will look and see what they google up.

I've got the Corbin seat on my I/S and both my wife and I love it. I upgraded my last bike to a Mustang seat and it was great as well.

Thanks, the corbins are wonderful seats! Is that Orange colour on your bike OEM? I've never seen an orange valk.  I know the magna came in a very HD orange and black two tone  Undecided but yours looks much better in more orange.

Nope, the bike had that custom paint when I bought her with colour matched Corbin seat. That picture really doesn't do the paint work justice, It has a lot of detailing in it.

Sounds like a plan. I think your right about the end of the riding season based on the snowfall right now but I'm still holding out for one more little ride. I haven't tucked the bike away yet just in case.

Canadian Interstates have a one-piece two-up seat, but Canadian Valkyrie riders probably already know this.

I think it's kind of funny that you two "northern Ontario" folks are still south of Helena, Montana, way south of southern Alberta.  But then we in Alberta call the Edmonton area "northern Alberta", which is still south of half-way up the province.

I consider most people in Min, Wis, N Dak, and Montana to be northern boys more than people from the lower mainland B.C. which is north of those American boys!!! Climate and attitude mean more to a northerner than geographic location despite the messed up logic! cooldude

-19C? Wow, and we are looking at what? 7C and rain for the next week. We just went through a Northern outflow the last few days, and had a low of 2-3C.  Shocked

Of course, my bike is already put away with the rain coming. I don't mind the cold, can dress for it, it's the wet I worry about.
