Yepper, the Mrs. got me Valk stuff for my birthday!  New Kury Hiway pegs, a Stebel Nautilus Compact Chrome, and the plug-n-play wiring harness that goes with it.

Now, I was thinking of mounting the horn underneath, but sure seems like a waste of shiny chrome.  For those with the Stebel/Wolo setup, where do you have yours mounted?  Pics would be helpful if you got 'em.  I DO have Bakers but that's about the only thing that would be in the way.

Just got around to installing mine last night, finally. I cut a piece of aluminum bar (3/4" x 2 1/2") and drilled two 5/16" holes 1 3/8" apart. Mounted the horn to this, and then to the rear-upper bolt by the ignition switch (didn't get pics yet). Kinda goes in at a bit of an angle to clear the side cover, and acts like a filler behind the ignition.

And my other half doesn't like me anymore, cause I tested it while she was sitting there relaxing after work  Evil

I was going to mount mine where the oem horn was, but when I got it my "chrome" looked more like silver spray paint.  So, I put it underneath.  BTW, my better half didn't like me either when, at her request, I demonstrated my new horn in the garage.   2funny

If mine had looked as good as BonS's, I probably would followed my original plan.  As it is now, I do have to loosen one nut, pull two wires, and remove the horn from the bracket to use the lift adapter, but that only takes a few seconds.  If memory serves, STEELERS posted a pic about a year ago of the one-piece bracket he made for his.  You might find a picture of it with a "stebel horn" tech board search.  Please post a pic of your finished project.

Here is what/where I mounted my chrome Stebel,,, I wired my relay to be triggered by the original horn wiring and left the original horn in place and functional. So if I just lightly bump the horn button then I only get a chirp out of the stock horn if I hold the button for a bit longer then the stebel comes alive. I mounted this way since I also installed a 12v cigarette lighter under there next to the Fuel shut off switch. This picture was taken just before I reinstalled the Fuel switch.

If you're interested in the chrome Stebel then check out the Wolo horn as well. The chrome isn't beautiful on the Wolo but the horn is completely covered in chrome. Same price; Same setup; Same volume. click here.

Here is another option: the aerostich ear cannon air horn. It's the same thing as the stebel and wolo, too. Looks to be a bit cheaper, but isn't drenched in chrome like the wolo.

I mounted my Nautalis inside one of my pods. Totally invisible, still loud.
