Dave you look good on it.  cooldude  Since we got in early on Friday we went to the show on Friday night.

Tom standing next to the new wing it seems a lot smaller and slimier. The cockpit seems to to have the same room. The faring is cut different in back and it looks like you may have more knee room, but  Dave can verify that. I never had knee room problem on the current wing.

Got to see all the new BMW, Yami, Harley's. Indians. The Yami is one big bike and has the biggest, ugliest rear end on it . Don't like it. Bmw Grand America was a nice bike. The bike I like the most at the Show was the new Indian Scout Bobber all blacked out. It looks like a fun bike to ride around town. but not for touring.

It seems about the same as the old wing to me. There where different seats on the bikes and some seemed roomier than others. I couldn't get my foot over the shift leaver on one of them because of the seat putting me to far forward. I guess it's a curse having size 14 feet. Also my left knee doesn't bend as much since my knee replacement. I would have to go with the DCT option perhaps. It will be interesting to see how the owners like them in the long term. As of now I will just keep trying to wear out my Valk. 162600 miles and counting!

You are correct about keeping the current bike. Both of mine have many miles left in them and the only real upgrade would be the Electronics. It's just that "New and Shiny" thing that always gets me into trouble LOL.  Thanks for the report.

Red, non Air Bag, DCT Tourer. I like the color scheme of the air bag models better though.

Yeah, that red does look nice. Its a tough choice. I like the blue and white Tour and the silver.

I'm probably getting the new terminology mixed up. The GoldWing Tour is the new GoldWing and the GoldWing is the new F6B ? I thought silver was only available on the GoldWing ? I feel my self getting sucked into the vortex thinking about them.  Grin There used to be a dealership that painted new ones and sold them. I think it was in Russellville Arkansas but I couldn't find them. Anybody know it they still do that ? I think a green and silver in the paint scheme of the Air Bag models would look sweet.  cooldude

Yes, you are correct.  The silver one is without the rear trunk, now called a Goldwing. Looks like my F6B. But a trunk can be purchased, as an add-on, is what they say.

A green and silver one would look great as well cooldude
