Gary's bushings are no longer available, as he is no longer with us. VTX bushings that work with 1500 Valkyries: Honda 52489-HN0-671

Yes. On the bottom there are two different steel bushings (1L, 1R) that need to be transferred from the old rubber/plastic bushings to the new ones, but the rubber/plastic bushings are the same top and bottom. You will probably wear out three top bushings for every bottom bushing.

What's the difference between the VTX and the Valkyrie bushings?
Material (durability) and colour. Valk bushings are black and wear out quickly, VTX bushings are green and last way longer. Both are the same shape.

Valkyrie: VTX: The VTX part says "upper" but works for upper and lower ends on a Valkyrie.

Yes, and they are good. But the VTX ones are pretty close for less money.

Rubber ones wear out. Polyurethane ones don't.
Same deal with motor mounts.

A lot of VTX riders are using nylon bushings. http://www.vtxcafe.com/showthread.php/61178-Shock-Bushing-Survey-Rubber-vs-Poly-vs-Nylon/page2http://ohioxriders.proboards.com/thread/3940http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/6-vtx-1800-tech-board/311050-poly-rear-shock-bushings.html?action=threadThe Honda part 52489-MW3-305 / the stock part # for my 2007 1800r, this bushing is black and very stiff. The Honda part 52489-HN0-671 / the green polyurethane bushing - is a little softer and it is also about .020" taller in size, .020 bigger I.D, the O.D.'s seem to be the same maybe a minute difference. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/nylon-bushings/50124/page1/
