I figure since the monthly meeting was mostly cancelled due to Sta Wars, we should talk about it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the move and was not disappointed.  Best part for me, and I don't consider this a spoiler, was a total lack of Death Stars in the story.  I am sick and tired of Death Star stories.   cooldude

This was my first time to reserve a D-Box seat, I liked it and will probably reserve one again for other action type movies.

Anyone else see the movie last night or have tickets for today?

I enjoyed it overall... The PC aspect pulled me out of the movie a few times (Evidently you can't be a white male good guy in Star Wars any longer) and my wife commented she noticed the same thing. But it wasn't totally beating you over the head like in some current movies at least, it was just kind of there.

I liked it better than the prequels (Although that's admittedly a low bar), probably about on par with Return of the Jedi.

There's a fine line between paying homage to the originals and ripping off the originals, parts of it felt like they followed the Empire story line a little too closely.

I do look forward to watching it again at a later date to catch the little things that I'm sure I missed the first time around.

Overall a fun ride, lives up to the standards of the series very well... Left the theater with a smile...
