Trying to sort through all of the info out there.  I am looking at adding some of the driving lights to my '14 F6C and am finding conflicting stories  about the compatibility of using the turn signal function on the Show Chromes.  I looked at the SoCal's but the Show Chromes are on sale for $219 delivered.....all about saving where I can....Can anyone tell me for sure if the Show Chromes will work with the Admore(sp?) module to integrate the turn signals on the valk.....Thanks....

If it was answered that the turns dont work without the adapter that one member here made then you are good to go.

Thanks, that's what I had found, it was a little confusing at first if it would work even with the adapter....I found that with the Admore harness everything should work...Thanks again

I will tell you that the Show Chrome Tridium lights are advertised as 200 pct brighter than their previous lights, and they are even brighter than the SoCal lights.   I have the Triduum Show Chrome lights installed, they fit better look better and are brighter.  I did not (yet) hook up the driving or turn signals but they are awesome as is.

The Admore harness will work and it will also work with most 12v led turn signals. I have 3 harnesses on my bike, all functioning perfectly.

Curious why 3 harnesses?

Curious why 3 harnesses?

One is the original harness that was offered with their givi trunk light up packages, which I moved from my old bandit to the new valk. I then got the idea to work with Admore and request a new style harness for the SoCal lights and future light upgrades. The problem was we didn't know what voltage to send or use, as some LEDs only work with 12v and others have a 5v -12v range. We actually came up with two prototypes and I tested them both on the SoCals. The driving lights would only work with the on/off 12v harness, not the 5v constant to 12v on/off.

I got to keep the prototypes and I used them for purposes other than the driving lights (I don't own SoCals or the new ShowChromes yet). I can easily tap into the harness when I do upgrade. I turned my radiators into amber running lights and functioning turn signals for one harness, and added knight rider like turn signals on the shrouds for better daytime recognition from the side. All 3 work like champs and I've had no faults so far.

I started the project of the harness because I was intrigued by the issue of the SoCals and adding additional universal lights. It ended up working out great and Admore expanded their product line a bit. In the long run, I only paid for one harness and they also sent me a free license plate tail light for the work I put into figuring it all out. They were extremely happy with the instructions I wrote and pictures I provided, so they hooked me up with the free bits.

This reply directed at Moofner, This is Stanc 770. Been off the board for about a year due to having a slow speed wreck that broke my right Humerus in 3 places and weakened my right side.Sold my 1 4 Valkyrie and took time to recuperate and restore the strength in the right side.
Now I am ready to ride again and have made arrangements to get another 14.

Missed the conversations and typical BS on this forum and glad to be back. When I left the topic of making the So Cal lights work on the 14 with the Ardmore Device. When I left that issue had not been fully solved with Ardmore, they sent me a trial unit that did not work. You were running point on this mattter and I was wondering if it has been resolved? if so, what does it take to make it work and the contact info. For the company I can order it from.

If I seem anxious it is because I am. I have a surgery coming up in Jan. To replace two discs  in my neck at C5-C6 & C6-C7.I want to get a little riding time prior to that because I have to repeat this with 3 discs again in March. That means My riding time is short now, some between the two surgeries and a waiting period after March. I expect to be fully functional by May-June.

Meantime I’ll use the down period to make The light installation and the Corbin seat. Gonna be hard to know I have the bike sitting and shouldn’t ride it. Broke a leg skiing in 2006. They put a cast on it and I got in trouble with my wife because she came home and found me out riding with the cast on. Tried to explain it was the braking foot so it wasn’t so bad..... not a good explanation.

Stanc,

Admore has a specific website page that you can buy it from for $50. I'll get you the link when I'm not posting from my phone. It will come with all adapters and instructions to get the job done.

One of the first things I did to my 2014 Valkyrie was add driving lights into the lower cowling. the price Honda wanted for their kit was out of price range, so I did get the wire harness from Honda for the switch, but found LED lights on line and made my own brackets. mounted them into the cowling and all works great.

Is there a coupon code or something to get a discount on the Admore Adapter for the VRCC guys?  I thought I read that somewhere, but can't find it now.

I put on my own LEDs as well, but mine are on all the time.  The lights only cost me $15 and some time to make the brackets.  I just use the lights to be seen, not to add more light to drive.  The headlight is plenty bright enough for me.

You can see them in this picture.
