Just checking in to see how you all are doing....here in the Treasure Valley of Idaho we haven't been able to ride much, but was able to get the bike out 2 times this last month (Dec) and hoping that I'm able to get out on New Years Day even if its just around the block!

We get together a couple of times a month usually for breakfast just to talk about our Valkyries and riding in the riding months.

Right now there are 3 of us planning on making the trip to Roanoke in June,( Diamond Dave, Nogrey and me, Whooray..... 4 counting my brother Merle (Bear) from Utah.
We are really looking forward to the trip out, during and coming back from Roanoke.

I almost forgot...we will be adding 2 more to our Valkyrie group here real soon. The Burkes, Yuri
( Ice) and his wife Petra.  We are real excited for their arrival.

Have a great day and Happy New Year to all the Northwest Valkyrie lovers.

No Whooray, it's not spring yet... the snow just melted off from our very rare white Christmas here in the Kent Valley area of Washington! Haven't been riding much this past year, busy with other things, but think often of the fun I had riding with the Idaho Chapter back to Spearfish. That was a great ride.

I was really looking forward to Billings, but them a last minute family matter took priority. Have fun on your trip to Roanoke, wish I could join you but just don't have the time. Would have to close my business to go and closing the business is not good for business!

I hope the Idaho Chapter will try to join the BC and Washington Chapters at the Valhalla Rally in Grand Forks, BC at Jonny's Motel June 21-24 2018, beautiful area and great riding. The Valhalla Rally is always a good time!

Happy New Year!

Spring has passed and it's summer now here Cheesy

Almost too hot melting the roads in places where they have used poor quality products....not nice when the road surface shifts on the corners!

^^^^^  cooldude^^^^^^^  Would be great to have the boys from Idaho at Valhalla...extendIng it by a day for 2018 will make it even better and the more the merrier! There's a couple of us making the run to Roanoke from BC (and maybe one from WA), then making a beeline back to Grand Forks for Valhalla on the way home cooldude

Im sure it would be a real hoot to get together at Valhalla.....I just dont see how I could make it happen since its the weekend after Inzane and Im going to have to take alot of time off work to ride out and back........but.....

What if we tried to do a long weekend somewhere in the middle( between Boise and Seattle) say July or August, or even September.  Nothing fancy just a face to face so we could lift a glass and swap a few lies.   Think about it....I really think we could make it happen.

I've been trying to think of something, somewhere, it might be nice to do a second meet in WA. Maybe Wenatchee WA? A nice day ride from BC through Hwy 20. Or even Okanogan WA, if there is anything there, maybe just an over nighter.

How about meet in Walla Walla (one day ride for both groups). Next day ride the mountain road from Walla Walla to Dayton (Mill Creek Rd, Tiger Creek Rd, NF 65, Kendall Skyline Rd, N Touchett Rd) and then back to the motel via Hwy 12. Two nights to drink and bullshit and loads of great riding.

You Canadians are sounding real good as far as a "meet in the middle" both those places sound really good..  Im sure that we can come up with a great plan that we all agree on.

Several of us have gone to Joseph Oregon for a long weekend and really like it there... thats not in the middle though.

Joseph OR is a good day's ride from here, which is fine .... I've never been there, which is also good. Depending on which time of year and weekend, I'd be in for that.
I assume we'll still  do Valhalla-2 in September, and June will be taken up by Inzane and Valhalla-1. July/August sounds good. The more Valkyrie meetups the better as far as I'm concerened.
