I was looking at my Texas Gazetteer--a 70 large page map of Texas and noticed several trails set up by the state--the Texas Forest trail,Texas forts trail,Texas Hill country Trail,Texas Brazos Trail...all looking to be interesting rides but maybe 2 days each

The Forts Trail has been on my list for the past two years, it’s a good possibility this year. I have been to Ft Richardson in Jacksboro, but planning to start at Mason and make the round trip. TJ 5_19 expressed an interest also, hope he will join me if he is not too busy at the time.

If you are riding and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

I got that book when I went to HotGlue's, I had no idea how
big it was going to be
...
I just got it out, and I see all those trails, I bet you could make
good rides out of them...

I have a DeLORME Atlas & Gazetteer for Texas I bought at a map store..it has 168 very large pages that covers the State that I peruse..just looking at some more local pages to plan a ride I noticed some dots on some highways with these various trail names and saw the state came up with these..and yes I clicked on your link and that is what I saw on my maps and at the bottom it talks about some others..it all looks promising
