Bar none, he was my favorite football announcer of all time.  He and Bob Griese doing the Wolverine's Rose Bowl win and national championship of '97, my favorite game.

I like a few of the younger guys who talk strategy, defense and other technical stuff like Gary Danielson,  Chris Spielman, Brian Griese and Kirk Herbstriet.

The morons they end up with on so many of the lesser bowls, it's better to watch with the sound off.

And I positively hate listening to Beth Mowins (and won't).   I think any woman who played HS and College football might make a good announcer, if there were any.
