Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Was at a local watering hole for bike/ wing night last night. Kit and I were putting on stuff to try and stay warm as we head to our next joint when this older, possibly a pan head, rolls into the lot and parks near us on others. Some other riders great them and his bike dies. Someones said something about the engines being reliable. The owner says 'it don't need to be reliable if you know how to fix it!'  uglystupid2 I was like WTF? Are you serious? Guess he dosen't ride long distance! I like wrenching on a bike but at least its reliable!  Evil

The best responce I ever heard to a comment like that came from a lady who owned the local Yamaha shop in respone to a customer who was talking trash about Harleys in her shop. She said, " If Harley Davidson produced airplanes, would you fly in one?" She turns and walks off and everyone else in the place cracks up. It was priceless to see the guys face.
