Took a quick ride to the lake on kind of an overcast day but the sky was really beautiful over the lake and with it in the background made for a nice shot.

The lake has a few locks and these guys were making themselves comfortable in the quiet and peacefulness that was there.

I had the chance to drive this and it has carbon fiber brakes which I have never had the pleasure of trying before and what a beautiful set of brakes. I love them, no fade, stop on a dime, silky smooth and always assured a precise stop. The car is an 08 Aston Martin DBS What a great car to drive, I wonder if I could find carbon brakes for the Valk

Last week was raining off and on but couldn't  help but take a pic of the rainbow

Great pictures Robert.  Make me wish I was there, instead of here.  Although, it did go up to a balmy 5C today.  I was out in just an insulated shirt playing with my dog.

As for the cabin fibre brake pads for our bikes, they would destroy our rotors in pretty short amount of time.

Nice!  You guys are lucky with all that beautiful weather.  The Valk is tucked away in the garage nice and dry. The temp made it to 55 yesterday, and the surface of the ground started melting so I had nothing but mud.  Contractor started prepping for my new driveway to the garage before the freeze, so he thought.  He found the ground too frozen to do the job properly so I have over 80' feet of mud on the surface.  The Valk isn't going through that. I did start it to run for a while though..  Probably best to not take it out with all the salt on the roads. Angry

Thanks for taking the time to share your ride with us Robert.

Where I live it's another 6-8 weeks before the real riding weather starts.

There is so much salt & cinder put down over the winter, plus giant pot-holes from the plows, it makes the roads almost as slippery as when ice covered!
Need a couple days of gully washers and above freezing temps..

Until then keep the reports coming. cooldude
