I don't know how much it would cost to install the kit, but I'd imagine you'd be in for a fair amount when you are done. There is a Valk trike for sale (not mine, or anybody I know) in MA on the Boston craigslist. Looks decent, and low miles. Not cheap, but I wonder if it would be easier/less expensive to sell your current Valk and buy theirs. I know it's against the forum rules to post a link to a craigslist ad, so I won't.

A friend of mine just had a Roadsmith put on his GL1800 and it cost him $15,000.
Looks very nice but lots of $$.

Thanks for your help, I agree with your responses, a lot cheaper to buy a used, than to trike mine, I may do that and keep mine, spent some time customizing it and would not want to sell it at this time, I can spend time riding both

I think it's ok to link a Craiglist ad. Many have done it. We used to have a guy on here who post up killer deals all the time.

I went by this. It's in the "Rules of the Road" section.   http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,26857.0.html

May not apply, since it's not in the classifieds section, but I'm still pretty new here, so didn't want to blatantly piss off the administration here.

cooldude no worries. I think if you come across a good deal or something you think someone would be interested in, it will be well recieved.  cooldude

Who ever you select, It's very important that only one person works on your bike otherwise things will be missed/left out or not installed correctly (ask Karen)  Shocked

Hi, thanks for all your input, pretty close to getting a Vaylkyrie Interstate with a Roadsmith kit via a private seller, will know in a couple days.

It's been an interesting experience, sorting thru all the trikes for sale sites etc.. Contacted a couple RS kit installers and left a bad taste in my mouth, but it may have worked out perfectly

Again thanks
