I bought a 99 Valkyrie Tourer with a windshield already installed.  I'm not sure what the brand is.  It measures 20" from the top of the light cutout to the top of the windshield.  I moved it up on the forks  so it would be taller, which left a large gap between the light and the top of the cutout (about 5 inches).  With it set up like that it is about the correct height , just below my line of sight.   Does anyone know of a taller shield?  The tallest I have seen is a 21".

Perhaps, post a pic. As far as the line of sight positioning, the top of my windshield sits above my line of sight. I don't have a windshield wiper. But I do have the newer year oem seat, so I sit on the *hump* on the seat in wet weather to see above the windshield.

I have a ClearView shield (the shortest they make), which replaced the tallest one they make. If you have the OEM mounts, it will fit.

If you get OEM hardware, those Rifle billet fork clamps are useful to mount spots on your forks.  I did that with both Jade and Deerslayer.

Storz Performance offered a 1pc accessory/windshield clamp for XR750/XR1200 Sportster models which used inverted forks. They're listed as 55mm ID; fit nicely on the Valkryie and some VTX models.

If I run across the package of them I have in my stash I'll get a pic or two along with a part number.
