Watch the video link below the pics.
Location: South of Plano, Texas

I received this in an email.
Apparently it occurred in '04. I haven't been able to find the story behind it.

From the video, it sounds like he wasn't wounded!!!

At least not seriously wounded... he told the other cars to go instead of asking for help.

That's some crazy stuff right there!

This happened November, 2004. 6 Richardson, TX police cars came under fire from heavily armed robbers.  Here's the CBS News story.  http://cnettv.cnet.com/wild-police-shootout-texas/9742-1_53-50026677.html

I was about to call BS too with all the wooden dowels!

I remember the actual incident... See that big overpass they ALMOST go under in the chase? I ride that every day to/from work... (That'd be the President George Bush Turnpike)

They got away. Don't remember if they ever found them, but they didn't catch them that day.

Scary stuff.

Thanks for posting bro, have sent the pics and video link to the officers I train, may serve to help them stay alert. I know I can get complacent on traffic stops on occasion. very scary stuff!!
