Picked up an Interstate trunk last week for my bike. Talked to my buddy who owns a body shop. $600 in materials. I was pretty sure I read there was another Honda car that the color matched and was substantially less expensive. anybody got any ideas?

I went thru a paint match problem Oct. 2016. It took 1 wk. for our local paint supplier to get the match right. Our paint is solvent based and now days it's water based. They were able to do solvent based but it did bust their chops and they been in business since the 70's. I believe (?) 2006 was the water based transformation year for Honda. BTW $160 for a pint of paint.

When I did the nut cage mod, I found a rattle can that was a pretty spot on match.

I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts and they scanned the paint and computer matched the mix. I'm thinking it was around $70.00 for both colors. The $70  was just paint for the trunk I don't remember what the paint cost to paint the saddlebags and Hoppe fairing I had done before the trunk.

Grist Mill at Norris Dam State Park. Originally constructed in 1798, the Grist Mill at Norris Dam State Park was included in the purchase of land by TVA. Due to the flooding and building of Norris Dam, the 18th century mill was torn down and reassembled. It was operated by four generations of the Rice family.
