Hello all..... It's been a while since I've been here! Glad to see it up and still running strong! I'm trying to talk my bride into going to our first InZane! I missed the two in my home state due to injuries & surgery, but the 3rd. try is the charm, eh? Anyway, if I understand correctly, the name of the actual hotel isn't released to anyone not registered (at least I can't find that name anywhere!) The folks who run the club & board have it that way for good reason I suppose and I'm fine with it....but I'd like to know if the hotel allows pets? I have a couple other questions as well..... Thanks!

I checked the website for the host hotel, it says dogs 80 pounds and under are welcome,  there is a $25 (nonrefundable) pet fee per stay. Dog beds, water bowls, etc are available.

Isn’t it embarrassing for the dog to be weighed in front of everybody ?  Wink

The sense of embarrassment so common to many of us stems largely from an exposure of what we are as opposed to what we have presented ourselves to be.  It is so common to us because we have so regularly involved ourselves in "putting on a good front" or being overly concerned with how we appear to others.

Dogs (and some humans) have no such problem.

The answer to your question is no.

Willow, I think the question could be interpreted as, "Isn't it embarrassing for the owner if the dog is weighed in front of everybody, especially if the owner has been overindulging the dog with treats?"

We feed those that are there Sunday evening. It's a great way to start off the event. I would say that most arrive on Sunday and roll out on Friday.  cooldude

80 lbs??   My goodness, a bit discrimatory IMHO............
I was thinking of bringing Bowser along.

Surely they wouldn't notice an extra 100 or so pounds.   Ya think??

I think my Michigan friend is the only member that will make Serk feel short. Last I knew Jerry came in around 6'10"....a mere whisp of a man.  Wink  Hope things work out so I can make the trip, haven't seen him  in a few years now, he and his wife used to come down for winter. For those that don't know, his signature of KW stands for Kilted Warrior.....which means he sure isn't Italian.  Grin
