Servicing work about done on the bike. Warm weather forecasted for the weekend. Nope, winds off that damn Lake Michigan keeping things cold.  Now snow in forecast and another week in the 30s. I hate living here. You spend your life waiting for the weather to improve, and when it finally does it's over with one sneeze! Back then to the indoors wasting your life away waiting.....

Well I pity you guys ! After two days at home (homework), I rode for two hours today. It was cold, pouring rain but the pleasure was still there !  cooldude

Sheesh, I can really relate, Adrian. I'm a good four hours due south of you and have it almost as bad here as well. Today's sunny (a rarity) and almost 50, not as prohibitively windy as it was yesterday, but it takes this late in the day (it's a little after 3pm) for it to be even halfway comfortable to ride and then the temperature starts plummeting as soon as you're starting to enjoy yourself. Very frustrating, and the next day to even have a chance of hitting 50 again won't be until NEXT Sunday. (Which is forecast to be cloudy, just to help dampen any potential enthusiasm.) Again, sheesh.

Just got back from a short, but fast ride. One word: COLD. On the couch now thawing out. Still had a blast. A week of Winter weather forecasted...ugh.. I'll never learn. A half plus century living here and I still get disappointed in March!
