I got her home

Prescott John:
130 miles.  Wow!  Sums it all up in one word.  Going from the Valkyrie to this new Goldwing is like changing from your old CJ5 and getting in a modern SUV.  It is easier to control than I expected.  At mile 3, I had to get on the brakes hard and yes, I was reaching for the clutch and gear shift lever, but I adapted to the DCT pretty quick  The bike is very smooth and easy to control at parking lot speeds.  I was really worried about that.  The bike feels much lighter than the Valk, but I think the Valk is steadier in heavy side winds. The brakes are better than the Valkyrie.  I think I'm going to really like this bike.  I have lots of studying to do.  I still haven't figured out how to turn the radio on or off.  The electronics are pretty extensive.

BigMac (SoCal):
Here's a picture I took off Fackbook.

A beautiful pair for sure.

Looks like he cleaned his garage as well.

NautiBrit:
I forsee much lighter saddlebags in your future John. Way less tools and spare parts required, at least for a couple of years.  ;D
