Met up with my riding bud on on his yammy twin and after some stops we were off. After some discussion we realized neither one of us had been on Mo. 125 South of U S 60. So we set out to remedy that situation! Suffice too say we did NOT make a mistake on our route choice.
I no way no how had enough eyes to take in the eye candy-scenery wise-we had rolling out in front of us and to either side.
Some where between Sparta and Bradleyville we were on the ridge and had a valley on either side! And as a plus with the leaves gone we had spectacular views of those valleys.
0h and the-well one of the other pluses-crystal clear blue skies and another plus-never got over 65 degrees F all day.  cooldude
Right at 221 miles today with Phatt Ghurl giving me 36.7 M P G! And while I know it ain't a nor'easter we are in fer some bit a rain the next couple days or so.  crazy2 J T and I gonna make a point of riding roads here in Missouri we have yet to travel!  coolsmiley For all my Brothers and Sisters Still putting up with winter-I'm here to tell ya it WILL git betta!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Tween nexrad and 24/7 weather channels and the "media" I have a fair idea what yer putting up with. I was born and raised in "snow country" so I Know about it. And drove 18 wheeler in All the continental states at one time or another. Even down here I've had my share of wait for the snow to melt and the sand and salt to be washed off the roads so I can RIDE! It Will git betta. Just seems ta be takin longer this year!  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

That is indeed a nice ride.  Further south you can ride the ferry into Arkansas and it's a good ride there also.  Pretty country.  Nice curves.

Soon as our mornings warm up a tad bit more the Ferry ride IS and WILL be on our agenda! Talked bout that when we stopped in Gainesville before we split up. Yes Bill, I’m on that team. As of this week, we dumped 2500 tons of salt on our 116 miles of roads.
Most every town & the state has gone to all salt, no sand, to keep roads black.
Our trucks are rusting out from underneath us and all that salt CAN’T be good for roadside trees & vegetation.
But, I guess BLACK ROADS MATTER...

Come on spring,

Here in WI we use CHEESE..

Next weekend cycles are finally coming OUT even if only for a short 20-30 mile ride lows will still be in the 30s but highs around 50.  Would be nice to get a good RAIN soaking though since roads all over are still pretty gritty/sandy all over the place.

Dennis,

Nothing like wind therapy, huh...? Good to see you're back at it and doing the deed! With little effort at all, I can easily imagine a big ol' goober grin plastered all over your face! Looking forward to more tales from the roads...
