Maybe this should be my next trike?

I just received  an invite to test drive/ride a Vanderhall from Vanderhall of L.A.  I have never heard of it.  Anyone familiar with this beast?  The specs say turbo charged 1.4 liter, 6-speed auto.  Curious if anyone has any knowledge of it.  Thx

The emperor has no clothes:
I followed one on Hiway 93/95 in Vegas a couple years ago. It was 2 Sikh Indian dudes. They seemed very nervous and afraid of it. Other than that, I know nothing about them. It did look pretty cool though. Really low to the ground. Their heads were about at my waist height when I went around them.

Dennis from Blythe:
Oh yeah Tim, you should definitely test drive that.

I've seen similar vehicles like that at this past motorcycle show in Long Beach.

May not even need to wear a helmet, being in Arizona.

Jess from VA:
Very cool.  Base model under $30K.  180hp, mostly GM, antilock brakes, auto/paddle shift, 2-wheel front drive, rear free-wheels with a brake.

A trike is not a bike (except for a ton of laws and regs), but better than no bike at all for many.

Funny, all kinds of car regs are not applicable, and it licenses as a bike, but it has seat belts (a very good idea), and you don't have to wear a helmet.

I like that you are not buried down inside.  It has a heater and heated seats. Real auto glass, no plastic, 1375 dry weight.  400 Watt BT Sound. All ABS bodywork.  I think my interstate has more storage.

Front tires, 235/35Z R19,  Rear 315/30Z R20   Brembo brakes.

No center position rear view mirror so a nice size luggage rack and roll bag/duffel to match your IS storage...  :coolsmiley:
