This is a great weather app to have, especially while traveling. It shows you where all the rainy weather is at.
The app uses your phone for GPS location, so you can see how close you are to any weather you may want to avoid.

Yes, looks like there are a lot of great options out there.
Love all this technology.  I remember back in the day licking my finger and holding it up see how fast it would dry to determine if it was going to rain or not.

This is a ridiculous app. Why would I want to know where it is raining? If I had a "smart" phone I'd look for the app that tells me where it is NOT raining.

Weather Underground is what I have on my smart azz phone. It uses the GPS to show where yer at and you can slide it in any direction to see what yer headed into. Also has the last 30 minutes on a loop. You can zoom in enough to make out local road names-BUT that be a slow process. RIDE SAFE.

(And now that I went and installed it and have kicked the tires, it gets 2 thumbs up from me! Thanks for the tip!)

My Radar has been my weather app ever since I turned to an iPhone.  Now using My Radar Pro on the iPhone 8.  Must have paid to get rid of ads...

I have been using this app "forever".
It is super fast to load, gives you just the right amount of information, and lets you know what is coming your way.
Very useful when out on the motorcycle or out fishing. Can make decisions on a re-route or, in the boat, if you need to move or head in early.

I use an app called RainDar it has saved me from a soaking several times.

The only thing with it is that sometimes a really light rain won't show up.

I may have to check this one out.

Thanks for finding that Serk.  It wasn't available last time I looked for it and I had to settle for a crappy ap that would claim it was bone dry while you were getting soaked.  This one works!

I have WeatherUnderground  (Wunderground) app on my iPhone.  Have used it since my wife insisted that I update from a flip phone.  I have used it here in OR and in several trips around out area including Glacier NP in MT.  Could see a storm coming in and helped Sister/hubby batten down their tent before the storm it.   I didn't use it last week, should have, when I got surprised by a Thunder storm cell.  10 miles of wet, I hate riding in the rain.  Didn't take long to dry out.

It is great in that it also gives you weather info for where you are, including highs and low temps.
