Connie,

Yep, but I've been feeling it for a while now... Departed my 'home' for this event on April 17th, and we're now over 6,000 miles into this trip! I'll be riding in with the cool kids from east Tennessee (God's country) and should arrive Sunday afternoon... Now, if we can just dodge the raindrops, crazies, and self-induced errors, we'll be there with high expectations! See ya soon!!!

Pais,

I was introduced to a guy at a party one time, and I asked the usual 'how are you' question... His reply was priceless... As his face lit up, he gleefully exclaimed, "The kids are grown and out of the house and the dog is dead! Life is great!!!" Sounds as though you might could relate to that! Good luck and safe winds on your journey... see ya in a few!

Are you trying to scoop up more awards... LOL.  Ya know, in all these years, I've never had a chance to ride with that wild bunch.  I guess that needs to be on my bucket list.

I have to tell you Connie I"m really bummed I had to turn back in NM. I've been keeping in touch with John, Dennis, George and Ron. There having a great ride. John is going to pick up my packet and shirts for me.

That just sucks Dave!  Hope you're feeling better soon.  Do you think your new bike is an issue, compared to your Interstate?

No the bike is not the issue. I just have had back problems most of my adult life. Getting old I guess. Hopefully the doctors will get it figured out and I'll be on the road again.

Thanks, Dave
