Thanks. I've been there and walked around that museum too, and think it is the best MC museum in the country. Barber's and others have more perfect, like new and restored bikes, but Wheels thru Time has the best collection of old, original unrestored Americana (HD, Indian, Henderson, (and many more), board track, military, than anyone else. Lots more beside MCs too. It should be on anyone's bucket list.

There are so many bikes now that they tend to be too close to each other.
It was a warm morning and the museum has no A/C.
It was humid on the main floor and I didn't go up to walk the display gallery because it wold have been even more airless up there.

Thanks Paul If you like Indians, there is a motorcycle museum in newburgh NY that has one of every indian from the first year among other gems I planned to go there either Sunday morning of my wide weekend as those going south can still take 84 south and those going to new england can stay with me till the BBQ stop in Wingdale before heading home link http://www.motorcyclepediamuseum.org/schedule/

The owner Dale Walksler sometimes can be seen riding those things through Maggie Valley. He had a good show on TV a couple years back. Thanks for the pics.

Woulda been worth the museum trip just to see that old Henderson! The to and fro could be worse, too. You made a good move for sure.

I’ll keep that no ac in the back of my mind, visit Maggie Valley in the late fall or early spring! I love the old 4 cylinder inline bikes and would love to ride one someday. What’s the newest bike they have in there anyway?

The Reading Standard in my photos is a fairly new addition. If you use F Book they feature new bikes.
