It can be viewed many ways. Life can be fleeting, it can be antagonistic, it can be downright depressing at times. Since I’ve been back home it has made me step back a little and appreciate some of the little things. We are staying with my sister in law and her husband, and it has been great. Although I’m a little weird and don’t really like to go #2 in someone else’s home. Their fish site is down the road a mile or two and I go there if I can. Which brings me back to perspectives.

One looking in.

And one looking out.

I dun'nknow about that.  Went up into the high country with my buddy to set "bait" for his bear hunt.
All imaginable types of rotten guts, rotting chickens, and spoiled eggs went into the bag.
They may have been "one-two-three, shoot!" fingers sitting in the willows to see who got first run at you. crazy2

I was thinking about big brown bear too.

The last outhouse I used regularly (Incirlik AB Turkey) was frequented by a deadly and fast snake.

I only used it regularly until I asked about the big lines of white powder all around it.  I thought is was lime (like a football field), but it was snake repellent.

I always found it curious that the Turks that ran the base laundry downstairs below my office in a big two story Quonset hut were never using it when I was.  (It was always empty)

After this was all explained to me, I decided to go home when I had to sit down (it was only a mile away by car).  Standing to pee, I was always in combat boots.... and looking over my shoulder.

Rob,
I do like that “looking out” perspective.  That is certainly beautiful territory.

I thought you might like Simons video, he was up Alaska ways fishing (Koktuli River) he was not to sure about the big bear with its hackles up though (Pic at the start) the others didn't phase him to much... a little too close for comfort. He did get stuck in there for a couple of extra days due to weather which is a shame as he had planned to swim from Alcatraz to shore but he missed it

We can all get together and make a coffee table book. "Out of the House Outhouse views". Go around the country and take pictures of outhouses and the accompanying epic views.  Great photos!

Apparently they were a couple of valleys over....... and Hobbiton is on the other Island further north (closer to home)

I have been to the Hobbiton car park on a fundraiser ride.....but I am too tight on my money spending to do the tour Tongue

For me to get close enough, the money already spent would be minimal compared to the cost of the tour... Smiley

(Considering my 2nd tattoo is in Quenya, Tengwar font (One of the many languages J.R.R. Tolkien created, he was a cunning linguist!), and my wedding ring is The One Ring... yeah.... that would be high on my bucket list)

I'm jealous as snot of your riding area... *Sigh*

Out house was wood, concrete slab base, the other building was the stone hut, Double glazed windows, well set up and stay by donation..... Pots pans etc are there for you to use, No booking so its lucky dip to how many people are there......the river bed is the road in so it keeps the numbers down as that rises fast.

I have only been there once on my South Island camping trip....was great to get out of the tents when huts were available

I found this pic humorous.  I had to blow it up to be sure, but it appears this gentleman preferred to sh!t in the shrubbery like the bears, rather than in the outhouse.  I've been in a number of outhouses where the ambience and smell was enough to make you go in the woods if at all possible.

I like Rebecca  cooldude my daughter was diagnosed a year ago.

They went down the naturopath route and changed diets and kept up the exercise and didn't let it stop them living, she had her kids (Twin boys) after being diagnosed knowing full well it could trigger more progression of the symptoms but she handled it ok, I must get down to see them as its been a couple of years since we caught up with them....bike ride when it warms up I think Smiley

I hope your daughters MS progresses slow and she can enjoy life without too many effects for as long as possible.
