Hi all, I’m on the UK and a center stand has become available on eBay. It looks very home made which got me thinking. Has anyone made a center stand and is there plans available ?
Thanks

It looks like its a RIVCO center stand produced for the Valkyrie made by RIVCO Products, its one of the earlier versions.
Its painted black but looks to be in good shape and its a good price.

This center stand should have some fore and aft bracing added so as not to twist on the motorcycle frame cross member it attaches to.

Rivco from time-to-time reproduces and sells new ones, which come with the hand grip for pulling the bike up onto the center stand.

I forget their price, but $450 USD.

Thanks for the reply’s. So it’s professionally made. Does look very basic to make. The chap says won’t fit with cobra 626 so I’m guessing the same issue for 2 brothers 626 ? I’m sure I read some time back someone here made one ?

That’s weird, I can see Avanti’s original pic but not the ones who quoted him.

I have this on my Interstate. It is very stable, you would almost have to run over the Interstate to tip it over. It is adjustable to raise the rear to different heights to accommodate tire diameter changes. Center Stand leaves about 20 pounds on front wheel, making it easy to lift front end to check wheel bearings and to turn for tire pressure check. It is also designed to allow putting the Interstate on the Center Stand with very little effort from either side.
