We will be staying at a casino west of Escanaba for a couple days of riding.  Wondering what interesting things might be in the NE WI or W UP area to visit.

You are in for a treat.  If you can get into that rabbits ear, this is a nice area.  I am sure others will have some really good advice.   I see you are in Harrison.  I grew up in Midland and learned to ski at Snow Snake.

Not sure what Rabbits Ear is referring to, could not find anything about it.

The back side of Snow Snake is now a Rock and Valleys Off Road Park, draws many vechiles from all over every weekend.

 It is the peninsula that juts out into Lake Superior that looks like a rabbit ear, that includes Houghton, MI, Cooper Harbor, Fort Wilksonson, Lake Fanny Ho, and other attractions.

Ok, we did the North side of the Up last year, very nice, this year we are doing the South side of Western UP and Northern Wisconsin.  Will be their Aug 7. 8, 9 and return home on 10th.

I envy you.  Just love that U. P.  Like a place that time forgot.  I met my wife to be up there in 1995 while playing at an annual softball tournament in Curtis Michigan.  Her family has a summer cabin on Manistique Lake.
