I drove the 42ft "Grit Chip" RV on some tight roads but nothing like the drive today.

Had to do some driver training for the new school I'll be working for. 38ft 44 seater bus.

Part of the route was Dillard to Highlands and return.

Dillard is at 2,165 feet.

Highlands is at 4,118 feet.

Interesting drive with oncoming semis and the auto drivers unable to keep off the center line.


The bus nearly fills the space between the yellow and white lines    and has silly "rabbit ear" mirrors that are positioned wider then the body of the bus.

We've made that Sky Valley run. Entertaining on a scooter to say the least! I'd do it in this ol' 10 wheeler but not sure I'd wanna do it haulin' kiddies. Safe travels Brother, roll on!
